Play Through the Mountains: Submit Your Offer by July 17
Get Your Business Featured in the County-Wide Campaign During Biltmore Championship Asheville Week
The Biltmore Championship Asheville Week Partner Toolkit includes tournament information, brand guidance, ticketing, lodging, and marketing resources to help partners plan for tournament week. One key way to plug in is by submitting a package, deal, special, or experience for Play Through the Mountains, a community activation that will help visitors discover places to eat, shop, stay, and explore across Buncombe County.
Play Through the Mountains was developed in collaboration with the Buncombe County Strategic Coalition, a group of local business associations and community organizations that came together to think through how the tournament week could benefit every corner of our county.
The tagline and the strategy behind it grew directly out of that group’s vision—a unified, countywide campaign that lifts up neighborhoods and small businesses alongside the tournament. We're grateful for their leadership in shaping this initiative and for helping spread the word into their networks.
What is Play Through the Mountains?
Play Through the Mountains is a community activation hub on ExploreAsheville.com that maps deals, specials, and experiences across Buncombe County during tournament week.
The goal: get visitors moving through our neighborhoods and surrounding towns to make sure every corner of our community benefits from the week through maps, curated itineraries, social media, event storytelling, and PR efforts.
We’ll also distribute physical materials through neighborhood business associations so participating businesses have a visible presence on the ground.
How to Get Involved
Choose the option that best fits what your business is planning:
1. Submit a Package or Deal
This is the best way to be featured. Add your Biltmore Championship Asheville Week offer through the Explore Asheville Partner Portal, and approved offers will feed into the Play Through the Mountains page.
Your offer doesn’t have to be elaborate. A golf-themed drink special, welcome discount, themed menu, or curated experience all count. If you're not sure whether your idea qualifies, it probably does.
Submit by July 17 to be considered for inclusion in a curated neighborhood itinerary. Later submissions will still appear in the Play Through the Mountains deals grid.

2. Fill Out the Partner Interest Form
If you’re planning something that doesn’t fit neatly as a package or deal, or you want us to know what you’re working on, fill out the partner interest form. This is also the best way to flag your business for neighborhood itinerary consideration.
