National Travel and Tourism Week is Next Week
Join Us May 19–25 in Celebrating Our Industry's Impact

Established in 1983, National Travel and Tourism Week (NTTW) celebrates the industry’s critical role in powering our nation’s economy, communities, and connections. Travel is a $2.8 trillion industry that supports nearly 15 million American jobs while fueling other important industries such as manufacturing, health care, and agriculture—all which depend on travel to generate business, spur innovation, and support education.

To celebrate, we're hosting the inaugural Heroes of Hospitality Awards Luncheon at the Omni Grove Park Inn, May 20, 12–1:30 p.m. We invite you to join us in recognizing our industry's front-line staff and volunteers! Registration closes this Friday, May 17, at 5 p.m.

Thank you to our incredible industry partners who joined us for the inaugural Explore Asheville Travel & Hospitality Earth Day Cleanup! Nearly 100 volunteers took to the streets across five neighborhoods on Earth Day, collecting over 460 pounds of trash.

We couldn't have done this without the support of Asheville GreenWorks and RiverLink, as well as our host sites: Embassy Suites by Hilton Downtown Asheville, Wrong Way River Lodge & Cabins, Burial Beer Co., Cellarest Beer Project, and The Radical. We can't wait to do this again next year!
