| Get Your Business Featured During Tournament Week |
Play Through the Mountains is a community-wide initiative helping visitors discover places to eat, shop, stay, and explore across Buncombe County during Biltmore Championship Asheville week. Developed in collaboration with the Buncombe County Strategic Coalition, the campaign will feature curated itineraries, maps, social media content, PR efforts, and printed materials with QR codes pointing visitors to participating businesses.
You don’t need to offer a discount to participate. A limited menu item, themed experience, or simply wanting to be included are all welcome. Here’s how to participate:
Submit an offer or form response by July 24 to be considered for maps, itineraries, and promotional materials. All packages and deals submitted after the deadline will be listed on the Play Through the Mountains landing page, but may not be included in other materials.

| Meet the 2026 Explore Asheville Summer Interns |
Five local students are spending the summer with Explore Asheville, discovering Buncombe County's travel and hospitality industry from the inside out. Last month, we welcomed Max Segal, Maddie Yeatman, Edie Rogers, Sara Wallace, and Riley Andreacola to the Explore Asheville Travel and Hospitality Internship Program.
So far, the cohort has visited partners such as Kimpton Hotel Arras, HomeTrust Park, Thomas Wolfe Memorial State Historic Site, The Orange Peel, Chai Pani, and many more, gaining firsthand insight into the behind-the-scenes work that makes our community a memorable destination. They’re also collaborating on a summer research project focused on sustainability in Buncombe County's travel and hospitality industry. Thank you to all the partners welcoming them along the way!
