HEROES OF HELENE: COMMUNITY CELEBRATION TO HONOR RESILIENCE AND RECOVERY

September 25 at Highland Brewing Company

One year after Hurricane Helene swept through Western North Carolina, the Asheville and Buncombe County community will come together to honor those who helped us weather the storm and rebuild.

Heroes of Helene: Honoring Recovery & Resilience Together will take place Wednesday, September 25, 4–7 p.m. at Highland Brewing Company. This free, family-friendly outdoor event will celebrate the frontline heroes whose bravery and commitment helped guide the region through one of its most challenging times.

Hosted by the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce, Explore Asheville and Highland Brewing in partnership with City of Asheville and Buncombe County, the event will feature music, local food, heartfelt tributes, family-friendly activities and opportunities to reconnect as a community.

Thanks to generous sponsors, all attendees will receive a $10 meal ticket and $5 beer ticket at the entrance – while supplies last. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

Limited parking is available at Highland Brewing. Additional parking and free shuttle service will be offered from Asheville Sun Soo Martial Arts in the River Ridge Shopping Center.
