New COVID Relief Now Available
Business Recovery Grant Program
Businesses that suffered economic loss during the pandemic may be eligible for a one-time payment of up to $500,000 through the Business Recovery Grant Program.
Businesses that may be eligible for the Business Recovery Grant Program include: Arts, Entertainment, Recreation, Hotels, Restaurants, Bars, and Food Services, among others. Applications must be received by January 31, 2022.
The N.C. Dept. of Revenue, which is administering the program, is conducting two webinars to provide help and information on the program and instructions for applying:

Program Overview & Eligibility
The Business Recovery Grant Program will issue a one-time payment to eligible North Carolina businesses that experienced significant economic loss due to COVID-19. Two types of grants will be available to eligible businesses (including sole proprietorships) that suffered an economic loss of at least 20% during the pandemic:

Grant amounts will be determined at the conclusion of the application period. All payments will be made by check once the amounts are determined after the application period closes.
