Hi! I am a pianist and composer living in Asheville NC. I love Jazz and modern music as well Classical. Radiohead is one of my favorite bands!

I have had the most success focusing on ear training while also letting the student guide the lesson in a way. Of course I am driving the bus, but I want them to feel good about the lesson.
My favorite moment is leading a student to the correct answer with pointed questions! Nothing better then coming to an understanding yourself!
I hold a degree in Jazz Studies/Piano from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan.
Now residing in North Carolina, I was voted Best in Jazz for WNC Best of X through the Mountain Xpress!
I have opened up for Robert Plant, St Paul and the Broken Bones, Social Distortion, and many others!
I have shared the stage with Terence Blanchard, Joe Lovano, and other jazz greats.
I even played on the David Letterman show!
